Martine Prost

Martine Prost, a French national, was born in 1951.
She, who began yoga since the age of 16 years, learned yoga from nephew of Paramahan Yogananda and is currently a professor of the National Yoga Association of France.
With extraordinary passion for foreign languages, she studied in various countries of the  world since 1970 to 1982.
After having completed her studies at the Universite Paris Diderot in France, Tokyo University in Japan and Seoul National University in Korea, she received her master’s degree in Oriental Studies at the Department of Oriental Studies of Harvard University in the USA.
Although yoga was in her life all the time, she did not choose yoga as an occupation to sustain her conviction not to be bound by yoga. As such, she continued to tread the path of academic pursuits.
